Wvu Insurance Waiver Form 2020
All WVU students must purchase student health insurance. Students with qualified private health insurance can apply for a waiver of this requirement. The student health insurance premium is paid (in whole or in part) for doctoral students who receive graduate assistantships and internal scholarships. Your relationship to student accounts, financial support, scholarships, academic information and federal employment of co-op students. All domestic students enrolling for 6 or more credits, or international students with any number of credits, must have health insurance. Students can provide proof of coverage by submitting the waiver to student health insurance (opens June 1), or are automatically enrolled and billed to the WVU Aetna health insurance plan. If you recently registered for the spring semester or had circumstances that prevented you from completing the waiver before the deadline, you can complete a late waiver that is available immediately until January 14, 2022. WVU students must have health insurance and are automatically included in WVU Aetna student health insurance. If you already have health insurance that meets the minimum requirements, you can opt out of the WVU Aetna plan by completing the student health insurance waiver online on the Student Insurance Bureau website.
You will be asked to confirm that you have received the vaccines required as part of the waiver. If you are not unsubscribing from the WVU Aetna plan, complete the separate vaccination questionnaire available on the Student Insurance Bureau website. You can use the contact form for admissions. All eligible WVU and WVU Tech students without an approved student health insurance waiver submitted for the academic year will be automatically enrolled in Aetna Student Health Insurance. WVU and WVU Tech students must take out health insurance. West Virginia University has negotiated excellent health insurance for WVU and WVU Tech students. Aetna Student Health Insurance includes national coverage through Aetna`s extensive national network of providers, as well as global medical assistance.
The plan is specially designed for the needs of students and offers high coverage with low expenses. The Aetna plan is available in the medium term in case a student loses their personal coverage and has to enroll. The WVU Hub now offers virtual support via zoom. These sessions are by appointment only and must be done at least 24 hours in advance. Please note that daily availability of appointments may vary. Once you`re done, you`ll receive a confirmation email from SignUpGenius that includes a Zoom link that you can access at the scheduled time. The overview of the WVU Aetna plan for 2021/2022 is now available! There are no changes to the plan`s coverages.
